Soy Maria, madre de dos hijos, esposa, y estoy emprendiendo desde mi casa.
Me gusta trabajar con la comunidad, desde que era niña mis padres me enseñaron a pensar en los demás, en las diferentes necesidades para darles apoyo Lo hago porque es una forma de compartir las grandes bendiciones que Dios me brinda cada día.
Para mi es importante ser parte de 5M Emprendimiento Latino, porque yo he enfrentado diferentes barreras, he aprendido a derribarlas y ahora quiero compartir con otros para ayudarlos a eliminar los obstáculos de su emprendimiento.
Es muy importante no rendirte cuando sientes que tus fuerzas se acaban,el seguir luchando, visualizando tu META te hace ser más fuerte.
I'm Maria, a mother of two, a wife, and a home-based entrepreneur.
I enjoy working with the community. Since I was a child, my parents taught me to think of others and their different needs, so I can support them. I do it because it's a way to share the great blessings God gives me every day.
It's important to me to be part of 5M Latino Entrepreneurship because I've faced different barriers, learned to break them down, and now I want to share with others to help them eliminate the obstacles to their entrepreneurship.
It's very important not to give up when you feel like your strength is running out. Keeping fighting and visualizing your GOAL makes you stronger.
Marcela Hurtado
Mi nombre es Marcela Hurtado, soy una mujer Latina, una madre de tres hijos, esposa y organizadora en mi comunidad.
Empezamos 5M Emprendimiento Latino, porque yo quería emprender mi propio negocio,y en la búsqueda de recursos encontré que había muchas barreras para mi y mi comunidad y decidí que era el momento de crear esta organización, para ayudar a eliminar esas barreras a las que nos enfrentamos.
Me gustaría invitarlo a que conozcan nuestro trabajo, y que lo apoyen. A nuestra comunidad quiero decirles que nada es imposible, no hay límites, si yo puedo, ustedes también.
My name is Marcela Hurtado. I am a Latina, a mother of three, a wife, and an organizer in my community.
We started 5M Latino Entrepreneurship because I wanted to start my own business. While searching for resources, I found that there were many barriers for me and my community. I decided it was time to create this organization to help eliminate those barriers we face.
I would like to invite you to learn about our work and support it. To our community, I want to say that nothing is impossible; there are no limits. If I can do it, you can too.

Soy hija, hermana, amiga, y amo a la familia, una persona emprendedora desde siempre, y voy de la mano de resiliencia.
Organizaciones como 5M Emprendimiento Latino, es muy importante que existan, porque sirven como puente para poder cruzar las barreras que nos limitan.
Incitó a los jóvenes y adultos a luchar por sus sueños, sin importar que tan pequeño o grande sean. Luchen por sus metas, sueñen y nunca se permitan dejar de soñar en grande, siempre con disciplina, ya que para Dios, no hay imposibles.
I am a daughter, sister, friend, and family lover. I have always been an entrepreneur, and I walk hand in hand with resilience.
Organizations like 5M Latino Entrepreneurship are very important because they serve as a bridge to overcome the barriers that limit us.
I encourage young people and adults to fight for their dreams, no matter how small or big they are. Fight for your goals, dream, and never allow yourself to stop dreaming big, always with discipline, because for God, nothing is impossible.

Soy una artista latina emprendedora y creo firmemente en el poder del conocimiento como fuente de empoderamiento. Me uní a 5M Latino Entrepreneurship en mayo de 2025, con la intención de reforzar los esfuerzos que 5 Latinas iniciarron en 2020.
Si bien existen recursos para emprendedores, existen muchas disparidades sistemáticas en el acceso a recursos e información, lo que crea brechas entre quienes los ofrecen y la comunidad.
Nuestra misión es eliminar estas brechas, creando puentes y relaciones esenciales para conectar organizaciones y recursos con la comunidad y fortalecer su economía.
Aprendemos junto, emprendemos y nos empoderamos mutuamente.
I am a Latina entrepreneur and a firm believer in the power of knowledge as a source of empowerment. I joined 5M Latino Entrepreneurship in May 2025, with the intention of reinforcing the efforts that 5 Latinas initiated in 2020.
While resources exist for entrepreneurs, many systematic disparities exist in access to resources and information, creating gaps between those who provide them and the community.
Our mission is to eliminate these gaps by creating bridges and essential relationships to connect organizations and resources with the community and strengthen its economy.
We learn alongside entrepreneurs and empower each other.
